In this private two-day tour, you will experience an adventure of discovery; Ottawa, Canada’s capital, and the breathtaking beauty of 1000 Islands.
Explored in the early 1600s by Samuel De Champlain, the shores in this region of the Ottawa River became the city of Ottawa, the Province of Canada’s Capital, designated by Queen Victoria in 1857. Ottawa today is the political center of Canada, and not far from Ottawa, the majestic beauty of 1000 Islands can be enjoyed during a spectacular boat ride on the St. Lawrence River.
Your pick-up location will be your hotel or any other address, the same as your drop-off location or anywhere in the downtown area.
Starting and ending in Toronto, this is a private tour specially designed to explore Canada’s capital. With impressive and diverse architectural styles, the buildings in Ottawa are pure enjoyment. The views of Parliament Hill as the house of the Canadian Government can best be enjoyed from the Quebec side of the Capital, the city of Gatineau. Rideau Hall, the official Canadian residence of Queen Elizabeth II is also found in Ottawa. With its city center Byword market, galleries, museums, and the fantastic parks along the Rideau Canal, Ottawa is an exceptionally beautiful city to experience.
Along a marvelous scenic landscape overlooking the picturesque area of 1000 Islands, you’ll find magnificent scenery worth exploring. Surrounded by deep blue flowing waters, 1000 Islands is the waterway access to the Great Lakes of North America as well as the Gateway to the North Atlantic. The boat ride all the way through the islands is specially designed to experience this most gorgeous area of the St. Lawrence River.
